My first post. Who am I? And why am I here?

This is my first post as an official blogger.  I am a recovering Liberal who can no longer stomach what the Left has become.  Although my social positions would be considered moderate, I am a foreign policy hawk, a Capitalist and a fiscal conservative.  When it comes to terrorism, I won't apologize for my disdain for Militant Islam.

I believe that my passage from Left to Right will allow me to see things that those always on the Right may not see.  Hopefully, I'll be able to convey those views to you all.
